Meet Lawrence Fraizer of Fraizer Productions
After serving six years in the Army, including two tours in Afghanistan, Lawrence enrolled in college, unsure of his future career path. It was during his general studies program that Lawrence discovered his passion for working behind the camera. Inspired by other videographers and YouTube content creators, Lawrence began honing his craft and decided to launch his newly formed small business.
Fraizer Productions is a full-service production company that transforms clients’ visions into reality through captivating storytelling, cutting-edge technology, and a deep passion for creativity. Specializing in high-quality film, video, and digital media, the company delivers visually stunning videos and photos that engage and inspire. Lawrence credits his ‘big imagination’ as the key to his creative process. “I can visualize the final product before I even start working on a project,” he explains, “In fact, some ideas take shape in my mind even before I begin production.”
Fraizer believes that he can pinpoint a winning business idea during the process of reproduction. According to Lawrence, it all begins with understanding the client’s needs and expectations during the initial discovery call, which is usually the time for both the client and Frazier to imagine the finished work together. As the project progresses to post-production, everything always falls into place. The true test comes when clients receive their product and express excitement, confirming the idea’s success.
Lawrence believes that he and his team differentiate themselves in their industry by prioritizing genuine client relationships over financial gain. While compensation for their time and services is necessary, the focus is on the investment clients make in their partnership. Their passion for their work drives them to ensure client satisfaction as a primary goal.
While his creative talents and technical skills behind the camera are undeniable, Frazier candidly admits the most significant hurdle he’s faced is mastering the intricacies of running a business. Many gifted artists in his field, he believes, struggle with the same challenge—they possess an abundance of imaginative vision and artistic flair but often find themselves lacking the practical knowledge and savvy required to navigate the complex world of entrepreneurship. For Lawrence, this realization has become a driving force, motivating him to dive headfirst into learning the ins and outs of business management. From understanding financial planning and budgeting to developing effective marketing strategies and building a strong client base, Lawrence recognizes that these skills are just as crucial to his long-term success as his ability to capture stunning visuals through his lens. As he continues on his entrepreneurial journey, Lawrence remains committed to not only honing his craft but also to becoming a well-rounded business owner capable of thriving in an increasingly competitive industry.
