This year, GROW Nebraska and GROW Nebraska Women’s Business Center (GNWBC) will introduce GrowthWheel, a virtual business advising platform, as a free benefit to their clients. The GrowthWheel platform allows small business owners to make decisions with a comprehensive view of their business. Clients who wish to take full advantage of the platform can securely upload important documents, pull presentation-ready data, and access AI tools to build their business plan.
The simple, visual tools help identify priorities and define concrete action steps by breaking down the business into four digestible “challenges”: the Business Concept, Customer Relations, Organization, and Operations. Each challenge has 5 “focus areas.” GNWBC Director Nekola Distefano and GROW Nebraska Team Member Starr Lehl are certified GrowthWheel Advisors, and their consultations cover a 360-analysis of the client’s business and the creation of 30-60-90-day action plans.
“The GrowthWheel Framework offers several advantages for businesses of all sizes, whether they are just in the idea stage, a new start-up, or an established business. It is a simple checklist that helps small businesses have structured conversations about business growth by avoiding blind spots and defining decisions and actions,” Lehl said.
Thus far, Distefano has collaborated with over 20 entrepreneurs via GrowthWheel, many finding it very useful.
