GROW Nebraska and GNWBC actively seeking local businesses that have successfully grown with Google tools: One such business is Omaha’s eCreamery

A member of both GROW Nebraska and the GROW Nebraska Women’s Business Center (GNWBC) was featured in Google’s 2024 economic impact study after seeing exponential growth with Google tools! The nationally recognized eCreamery has trusted Google products to aid its business development since its establishment in 2007. They regularly use Gmail, Google Drive, Business Page, Ads, Analytics, Trends, and their AI-powered search engine: Gemini.

In 2020, eCreamery doubled its Year-over-Year (YoY) online revenue after shipping ice cream to all 50 states, thanks to Google Ads, according to the study. One of eCreamery’s founders, Abby Jordan, recommends the free version of Google Analytics to other businesses just getting started.

“[Google Analytics] just gives you a real baseline, even when you’re just getting started. It’ll show you how your traffic’s growing, where that traffic is coming from, and what traffic is converting,” Jordan said.

Jordan and her co-founder and Becky App’s relationship with Google extends outside of their business. They’ve attended Google’s Washington, D.C. conference over the last few years, advocating for local and statewide laws that affect small businesses that rely on Google.

“There was a bill that was going to tax marketing dollars that small businesses spent, so we helped with some advocacy around that, saying, ‘you know, that would be very detrimental for small businesses.’ We built a really great partnership with Google and the people that we’ve worked with there,” Jordan said.
