Sweet Meatz desserts bar specializes in made-from-scratch Cakes, Pies, Cobblers, Cookies, and Danish amongst several other products and services.
Sweet Meatz Desserts’ mission is to provide customers with the ultimate catered desserts experience while promoting and inspiring the entrepreneurial spirit. It all began as a cottage bakery from Rhea’s home in October 2023, operating under Nebraska cottage food law, and now it has grown into a commercial kitchen and wholesale operation.
Sweet Meatz, the culture is all about creativity, passion for baking, and a dedication to providing delicious desserts to our customers. We strive to foster a warm and welcoming environment where everyone’s ideas are valued, and teamwork is essential to creating our indulgent treats.
Prior to starting her business, Rhea worked in healthcare for sixteen years as a phlebotomist. During COVID, she experienced burnout as well as loss of wages due to schools and childcare closing so she had to return home because her family needed her. She knew she had to find a way to generate income while being a homemaker. She wanted to create generational wealth while doing something that she was passionate about, and Sweet Meatz was the answer. She loves to bake!

Sweet Meatz Desserts plans to broaden its market reach by catering for various events such as weddings, corporate events, holiday gatherings, parties, and by participating in local festivals and vending opportunities. Sweet Meatz Desserts will be introducing an ice cream product line in the summer of 2025, offering hand-scooped pints of ice cream, ice cream cookie sandwiches, and ice cream pails for parties.
