For the first time, GROW Nebraska CEO and Founder Janell Anderson Ehrke has collaborated with Nebraska Public Media (NPM) to offer a unique and affordable advertising opportunity to ten GROW clients. This opportunity includes 29 radio spots where those clients’ sponsorships will be presented live on air.
Bradley Steffen, Corporate Support Representative for Nebraska Public Media, connected with Ehrke two years ago. Their goal with this collaboration was to promote small Nebraska businesses statewide while mutually benefiting GROW Nebraska and NPM’s audiences.
“Obviously marketing and advertising is always a plus, and it isn’t necessarily an expense, but an investment for businesses to move forward with. So, GROW Nebraska came up with a great idea to give this opportunity to its members, to make that investment a little bit more affordable,” Steffan said.
As an NPR affiliate, NPM has a variety of programs that reach a wide, diverse audience. From arts & humanities to business entrepreneurship, NPM has impacted businesses, organizations, and nonprofits across the state.
Steffen has begun working with the clients, and their radio spots will run through September 30, 2026.
